Great show last night – It must have been extremely difficult to accept shortcomings but you both showed great dignity in accepting the advice provided. You also displayed great unity as a couple and as business holders
It was great to see you were prepared to change ( as many will not )
You deserve any success this brings and as a former inhabitant of West Sussex I would stay at your hotel if ever flying from Gatwick again all day long !!
I’me sure the show will do wonders for the business
    good luck to you both

Wow….Ann and Andy….no worries regarding last nights programme…don’t know why you were!!!
It’s the first time I have seen Alex so positive about a hotel.
I soooo look forward to seeing you and the new updates on 31st May and of course sampling what looked like a wonderful evening meal.
My only concern now is that you will be so busy, I’ll have a problem booking!!!
    Take care both of you.

Avid viewer of “The Hotel Inspector” series. Greatly enjoyed the Waterhall programme. Unlike most other hotel/guest house proprietors, you immediately came over as very nice people and felt that the profitability issues would be resolved. With all your land, I felt that you could offer holiday car parking. There was no mention on TV about this. Glad that you now offer it. I live in West Wales, but if I have need to fly from Gatwick, you will be my first point of contact. Peter Spears

It didn’t get much coverage on the show but yes, we do indeed offer holiday parking. We also have a meet and greet service.

Thank you very much for taking the time to comment.

Your rooms look amazing & that home made pie you served up Alex looked gorgouse,we may have to pop in one time to sample your fare!!! Do you offer holiday parking? Hi Steve and Chris,

Yes we do. Currently we’re charging £20.00 for the first 8 days and £37.50 for 15 days. Parking is on-site but we also offer the convenience of a meet and greet service.

You are very welcome any time.

      Thanks,

Well done. At last hotel owners who realise they have a problem and are willing to listen to and take advice from someone who knows. Not everyone is a business guru and sometimes we all need a push in the right direction. You deserve every success. Of course your hotel should not be seen as simply a stop over for those using Gatwick Airport – you have so much more to offer. My husband and I will certainly be booking in when the opportunity arises. Good luck to you both.

    Hi Ann & Andy,

I watched the Hotel Inspector the other night and am still thinking about you two! Such an amazing house, land, character and warmth that you have for each other, your children and your business.
I wish you the very best for a bright and positive future.

I shall certainly be hinting to my other half regarding your outdoor events and staying a night or 2!!

    Best wishes,

Just watched the Hotel inspector, and I could not believe how cheap the rooms were. I would pay double for one of the rooms . They are gorgeous.
    Well done and good luck.

Have just watched the show and thought it the best hotel so far.
One of the newly decorated rooms has a tartan throw and cushions on the bed, which I fell in love
with – can you tell me where I can purchase them please as my son is moving house and has been looking for tartan everywhere. When I am in your neck of the woods another time will definitely book at your hotel.

Look forward to hearing from you soon,
    Kind regards

Not sure on this one. Alex brought in a design team and they took care it all. I’ll make some enquiries and see if anyone knows where they came from.

Just watched Hotel Inspector best show we’ve seen. Husband and I will definitely try to book a stay when we go to Spain.
Another thing you could do in the barn is craft weekends.
Good luck for the future, you all deserve it.

I always watch the hotel inspector and was very pleased to see such a lovelly couple take changes and criticism so enthusiastically and gracefully. This quality alone endears you both to a regular flurry of guests! Not to mention the cleanliness and high standard the hotel had prior to its inspection. What a great skilled humble family. Our family now knows the perfect place to stay when using gatwick….we just need to find the perfect holiday!

    Hi,

Loved your episode of the hotel inspector, one of the best.

An odd query though, the waistcoat your son was wearing in it, where is it from? Would love it as a uniform for my bar staff!!

    Many thanks,
